Are you an experienced HR Manager looking for a challenging and rewarding position? If so, we have an excellent opportunity to join a multi-award-winning motor retail group as their Regional HR Manager. You will be covering multiple sites across London & Bristol. Responsibilities of the Regional HR Manager:

  • Provide a complete HR support service across a number of sites and functions within the company
  • Deliver advice and guidance including (but not limited to) colleague relations (including managing absence) disciplinary meetings, performance counselling, grievances and sickness
  • Measure colleague satisfaction and identify areas that require improvement
  • Deliver performance management: coach managers and colleagues on performance management issues and processes
  • Learning and development: provide guidance on development for all colleagues
  • Assist in managing talent and succession planning throughout the whole recruitment and employment cycle
  • Support recruitment and selection activity and campaigns
  • Manage induction and probation for all colleagues, and ensure all HR policies, procedures and processes are followed
  • Provide support for the company apprenticeship programme
  • Act as a trusted advisor and confidant to regional senior management


As the Regional HR Manager, you will:

  • Understand the needs of both customers and the company, and demonstrate this in their work
  • Take ownership in all aspects of their role, work without close supervision and demonstrate effective self-management
  • Demonstrate resilience, self-motivation and a commitment to self-development, actively seeking positive feedback
  • Contribute to the success of the business by staying focused on own performance, sharing knowledge, expertise and resources with others
  • Understand and work within protocol where necessary
  • Have good communication skills (oral and written) with excellent presentation, influencing and negotiating skills
  • Be able to represent the HR function as part of the bigger business picture
  • Have minimum 3 years' generalist HR experience - CIPD qualified or equivalent operational experience
  • Demonstrate experience managing TUPE, redundancy or other relevant HR projects
  • Demonstrate robust understanding of employment law
  • Show evidence of successfully managing relevant HR issues in a comparable environment and of managing complex and ambiguous investigations
  • Automotive industry experience would be an advantage but not essential
